The Space to See

I always find myself craving space and quiet after big life changes.

When I’ve been standing too close to something for too long, it’s easy to forget that I’m only seeing a part of a thing and not the entirety of it.

Space and quiet allow me to zoom out and remember that there’s more to the puzzle than whatever single piece I’ve been trying so hard to make sense of.

Sometimes the only way to understand something and how it fits is to put it down and move on.

The difficult part is knowing when to stay with it and when to let it go.

Because there is no completing the puzzle without that piece.

But there is also no completing the puzzle with only that piece.
